Nathan's Journalism Blog

Journalistic Integrity

Journalistic integrity means that the author is not plagarizing. The author also checks sources and facts to make sure that they're accurate. One of the concepts are that you have to be accurate about what you are reporting on. Another concept is that you need to correct errors you may make. The last thing about journalistic integrity, you should always avoid results or answers.

An example of journalism without integrity is when you give your opinions on the topic. One way to correct this error is that you should be on both sides of an argument. Stating facts that help the reader decide also help with correcting this error.

Using journnalistic integrity, I can write better blogs or articles, and so can the class. Journalistic integrity also helps students in our class become better writers. Using journalistic integrity can really open up opertunities in the writing industry.
